Personality:

Since Daivor became a magical boy, his previously shy demeanor has changed. Because of things that have happened in his magical career, he's not as welcoming to other magis as he was before, and sometimes he almost even seems depressed on seeing new ones.  

He still likes to compliment those that deserve it, and is less hesitant about it and less flighty. In fact, it almost seems like he's gotten better to the point where it sounds like flirting. 
When with friends, he tries to let loose and be pleasant. He loves to laugh and tease others, but never to the point of offense. He likes to have fun, but not at the expense of others. 
He wants everyone to be healthy and happy, and to enjoy he beautiful world they all live in. 

He's very giving and loves handing out free coupons to the bakery and likes to share his take-home donuts. 


Background:

Daivor, his parents and his older brother have lived just outside the small town by the cliffs since he was about ten, and before then he lived on America's Eastern coast. It was a beautiful place to grow up and thankfully the scenery wasn't all that different from his first home. He would often sit and watch the sky over the ocean. His mother, a painter, became popular for her works when he was a child. He and his brother tried to emulate her, and despite her encouragement, only his brother seemed to have any talent. After a while, Daivor took up gardening instead, hoping that if he couldn’t paint beautiful things, maybe he could grow them. His brother decided to help, and the plants flourished. But Daivor was jealous, having wanted to do something himself. Next he tried music, but didn’t have the discipline to learn to play anything properly, and even then, his brother became an amazing guitarist and even started a band with friends. He tried cooking as well, and finally it seemed like he found something he could sort of do.

His father set him up with an apprenticeship (or free labor for the time being) with a bakery in town when he was around 13 so that he could learn and get his foot in the door of the baking world. Things finally seemed to be going good!

And then his mom became sick. She had cancer, and after battling for two and a half years, she passed away. The family took a hard hit and the already introverted Daivor retreated further into himself. His brother turned the loss into profit, making an album that sold very well. That was something that he began to resent.

It was around then that Juunibey appeared before him. Wasn’t it better to do something himself and not have all these unhappy feelings? He made his wish while thinking of his mother who created such beautiful things, he wanted to create beauty like he had.


Powers:

Aside from slinging his chain's weight around, he can change their direction with the energy he sends through it.

The second he lets go, the chains lose their energy and either continue with the momentum they were previously given, or drop to the ground.

He can summon multiples of his chain, but the more there are the easier they are to break and the harder to control. Max 5 at any time, and he can only hold two. When holding two, it doubles the energy used to control them. If three others are also out, they would be lifeless. (Ex. He could throw them, then have the two he's holding. It's convenient if he drops one, which does happen.) After a few seconds(10) of having no contact with Daivor, the chains will disappear.

He also has some piano wire stashed in his magic-storage which acts much like the chain does only sharper. He doesn’t use it much because he sometimes cuts himself up with it on accident, as he can barely control it. It does fly faster though, but he can only summon the one (10ft)length as it's not his normal weapon. This is a one-use item, and if it breaks(thin wire=breakable), he loses it (it's so thin, if it falls to the ground it's hard to find,) or leaves it in a Witch's Labyrinth, he'll have to buy a new length of it.

Because of his wish, he’s good at anything artsy that he tries, even playing instruments almost perfectly despite never having held them before.


Trivia:

He thinks that his weapon is a chain because of how he felt bound by his family’s expectations. His mom created, his brother could, he felt trapped not being able to do so himself.

He’s 3 years younger than his brother.

He now gets paid at the bakery, just fyi.

He’s torn between what he wants to be when he grows up. The options are stylist, baker, musician, painter, florist or fashion designer. _{( not that any would ever happen |D )}
